Coco Warner Reporting We've been surprising some Utah educators this week by giving them a public thank you for all of their hard work.

This morning we're giving our High Five to a recently retired teacher from West High School.

Linda Richmond graduated from West High in 1962. She became a mom, returned to the school as a volunteer, and eventually as a teacher.

Principal Margery Parker says Richmond co-founded the alumni association, helped run student government, and is now retired, but still volunteers as a teacher mentor.

Richmond says the thing she misses most since retirement is getting to know the kids, and having one on one contact with them.
