SALT LAKE CITY — Rep. Ben McAdams joined nearly two dozen prominent Utah Democrats to endorse Greg Skordas for attorney general Monday.

Also backing Skordas are Salt Lake County Mayor Jenny Wilson and Salt Lake County District Attorney Sim Gill along with Democratic legislators and local elected officials.

“Greg’s depth of experience is exactly what voters need in the A.G.’s office. Utah’s top prosecutor should be an accountability checkpoint for all Utahns,” McAdams said in a statement.

Skordas will face the winner of the Republican primary election between Attorney General Sean Reyes and Utah County Attorney David Leavitt.
