SALT LAKE CITY — Authorities are asking the public to report any sighting of or contact with a camper who has been missing for two weeks.
Leonard Corby “Corb” Fisher, 44, was last heard from on March 31 or April 1, according to a press release from the Daggett County Sheriff’s Office. Fisher was last seen in the Browns Park area and was reported missing on April 4.
A sheriff’s deputy and two Utah Division of Wildlife Resources conservation officers found an abandoned truck in the area Fisher was last seen at, according to the news release.
“A note was found as well, stating that the truck would not start,” the news release states. “The truck, however, was found to be in working condition.”
Officials searched the area for hours with the help of a medical helicopter crew, but Fisher was not located. The search for Fisher was called off “due to current issues related to the COVID-19 pandemic and the county’s limited resources.”
Anyone who knows Fisher’s whereabouts or had contact with him after April 1 is urged to contact the Daggett County Sheriff’s Office at 435-784-3255 or Central Dispatch at 435-789-4222.
