SALT LAKE CITY — Authorities in Nevada are asking for the public’s help in locating a woman who was traveling to Utah but never arrived at her intended destination Tuesday.

Michelle Richan, 47, was last seen in Eureka, Nevada, about 7:30 a.m. and was heading to Brigham City, Eureka County Sheriff’s officials wrote in a Facebook post.

It wasn’t immediately clear which route Richan was planning to take to Utah, officials said in a Facebook post.

She was driving a beige 2000 GMC Jimmy with Utah license plate “2C5JW,” officials said. Richan is described as white, 5-foot-5 with green eyes and purple hair.

Anyone who may have information about her whereabouts is encouraged to call the Eureka County Sheriff’s Office at 775-237-5330 or 911 if it’s an emergency situation.
