WINNING — In sports, there are winners and losers.

But we are all winning with these moments, from Jazz star Donovan Mitchell’s respect for his sister, to former BYU outfielder Jacob Hannemann’s incredible moment with his son, and the rain delay battle to end all rain delay battles between Penn and Winthrop.

As always, click the video above for all of our Great Clips of the Week.

Donovan's got (shoe) game

You’ve probably heard of happy-go-lucky Jazz star Donovan Mitchell’s gameday tradition by now.

If you haven’t, here’s a brief refresher: Every game day, Mitchell selects one lucky fan after pregame shoot around and offloads a pair of his sneakers. He’ll pick the fan out of the crowd, sign each shoe, and deliver them himself before he heads into the locker room to get ready for the game, shoe-change and all.

Last Friday in Utah’s 114-104 loss at Memphis, he picked a special winner, though.

Mitchell picked his younger sister Jordan, who was sitting courtside, to receive a special pair of autographed shoes. The duo are close — nearly inseparable growing up, they’ve said — and Donovan Mitchell wanted to honor Lil' Sis on International Women’s Day.

Even with the loss, Mitchell dropped 38 points and five assists in 39 minutes.

Utah returns home to host the Oklahoma City Thunder at 7 p.m. MT Monday.

Cuteness overload

Former BYU football player and outfielder Jacob Hannemann has won spring training.

The current Cubs outfielder spent part of a game last week against Kansas City playing catch with his toddler son. He threw the ball a couple of times, then ended warm-up by tossing the ball over the fence to his boy.

His well-mannered son replied, “Thank you Dad! He’s at the baseball game.”

Adorable.

Epic baseball rain delay battle

It’s too early to crown a national champion in college baseball.

But the national championship for rain delay battles may have already been won.

Penn and Winthrop put their delay last week to good use, with more than just a dance-off or a war of words. You can see the whole thread here.

But suffice it to say that it started with a boxing match.

Then it included some literal "potty humor," a wedding and a live birth — complete with “newborn” and all.

And finally won when a Penn player volunteered to HAVE HIS TOOTH PULLED in front of all his teammates.

That dedication to the team paid off, too: Penn took two out of three games of the weekend series from Winthrop.
