OGDEN — A corporal with the Weber County Sheriff's Office Corrections Division has been arrested for investigation of custodial sexual misconduct, authorities said.

Jeremy Miller was arrested Thursday, according to a news release from Weber County Sheriff's Office.

"The arrest was the result of an internal investigation that began in November 2018. Jeremy Miller was placed on paid administrative leave on December 10," the release states.

Officials said Miller will be booked into the Box Elder County Jail "due to conflict of interest" with the Weber County Sheriff's Office.

The Weber County Attorney's Office is conducting a criminal investigation and an internal investigation is ongoing, according to the release.
