LEHI — Two men were airlifted to a hospital in critical condition after a Wednesday evening crash in Lehi, police said.
Two cars were involved in the crash, which took place at the intersection of 2300 West and Pioneer Crossing, Lehi police said in a Facebook post. Police first reported the crash about 6:40 p.m. Wednesday, according to the post.
Two adult men were flown to Intermountain Medical Center in a medical helicopter, Lehi police Cpl. David Colqui said.
One of the men had head trauma, Colqui said. He did not provide any additional information about the men.
The two men who were transported were in the same car, according to Colqui.
The northbound and eastbound traffic lanes at the intersection were briefly closed after the crash. As of 8 p.m., the intersection was open and the crash scene had been cleared, Lehi police said on Facebook.
