SALT LAKE CITY — A brush fire sparked along I-80 in Summit County Monday afternoon is the result of arson, fire officials say.

The Tervels Fire, located east of Echo Reservoir, had burned 350 acres and was zero percent contained as of 8 p.m., according to a tweet from @UtahWildfires.

Details about why investigators suspect arson were not immediately available. A pre-evacuation order has been issued for the Echo Creek Ranches area.

There are several other wildfires burning throughout the state. This story will be updated throughout the day with the latest fire information.
