SALT LAKE CITY — As March comes to a close, so does our most prominent Utahn poll. Sad, really.

It's been a fun few weeks of seeing how Utahns would vote for one of their own, and it ultimately came down to a showdown of former LDS Church presidents. It's hard to compete against Brigham Young, who essentially founded the state, but Thomas S. Monson is a beloved recent president, so it's anyone's guess as to who will win.

Regardless of the results, have some fun and learn about some of the 64 individuals included in the poll. Each of the people included had some influence on Utah's history and have interesting life experiences.

Here's a reminder of the rules for the last time:

  • You only have one option for voting, so don't complicate things. Seems like a fairly easy rule.
  • You can vote on as many devices as you can think of — if you're into that kind of thing.
  • Voting will go throughout the day and will end at midnight Friday. All votes cast after midnight will not be counted toward the final tally. A screenshot of the final results will be taken to avoid any issues.
