(KSL News) -- Alert citizens helped in the arrest of a bank robber this afternoon in Provo.
The suspect walked into the US Bank located in a Smith's store near 300 north on Freedom Boulevard and demanded the clerk give him money.
She gave him an unknown amount and he took off on foot. As police started searching the area, numerous people said they had seen the suspect, eventually leading police to his location.
He was taken into custody without incident.
