(KSL News) A Salt Lake City police officer proved she's in good shape after chasing down a suspect on foot.
A park officer at Pioneer Park tried to write a man a ticket for trespassing. But once the officer got his name, that man took off running.
An officer chased him about 8 to 10 blocks before he finally surrendered behind a building.
Lt. Mike Ross/ Salt Lake City Police Dept.: "He was taken into custody. He was very tired. Our female officer who chased him on foot was also very tired."
Police say the man ran because he had an outstanding felony warrant for stealing a car.
