SALT LAKE CITY — The people of Utah have spoken, and it looks like their favorite cereal is Cap’n Crunch.
A recent KSL.com poll showed that Cap’n Crunch received 11 percent of votes from readers. Honey Bunches of Oats came in second and Cinnamon Toast Crunch in third.
Cap’n Crunch, first introduced in 1963, has eight different flavors on shelves, including the most popular Original Crunch, Crunch Berries and Peanut Butter Crunch. Other flavors include Cinnamon Roll Crunch, Sprinkled Donut Crunch and Caramel Popcorn Crunch, according to Cap’n Crunch.
Cap’n Crunch’s website also gives different recipes to make with their cereal such as Cap’n Crunch Buffalo Chicken Tenders, Oven Crunch French Toast and Cap’n Crunch Thai-Style Chicken Tenders.
