(KSL News) A Utah County boy severely injured by a homemade explosive is making strides in his recovery.
Bridger Hunt's stepfather says the boy stood up and moved independently for the first time since the July 24 accident.
One of Bridger's legs is still healing, but he was able to hop around on the leg that wasn't hurt.
Bridger will likely be in the hospital for several more months.
