The mayor of Lehi wants a raise.

Mayor Howard Johnson makes $12,000 a year now. He wants $51,000, but he probably won't get it.

A committee says that's a little too much for the mayor. Instead, the committee has recommended he receive $18,000 a year and city council members $12,000 with some travel stipends.

The council will hold a public hearing about it tonight.
