(KSL News) -- A man who pleaded guilty to murdering his ex-girlfriend will receive his punishment today.
Juan Diaz Arevalo will be sentenced for first-degree murder in the death of Lindsey Fawson.
Arevalo admitted he hid in Fawson's trunk, in May 2005, then shot her in the face when she got into the car.
Arevalo faces up to life in prison.
