(KSL News) For the second time in two weeks, drivers will be disrupted by some major construction along I-80.
Last weekend, the Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) closed westbound I-80 through Parley's Canyon to move bridges into place.
This weekend, it'll be eastbound I-80. Starting Saturday at 7 p.m., UDOT will close the east route through the canyon for 24 hours to replace two bridges.
Commuters will not be able to get up the canyon during that time. Drivers will be detoured to I-80 westbound, to I-15 northbound, to U.S. 89 northbound, then to I-84 eastbound. An alternate detour is U.S. 189 through Provo Canyon.
