SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- A man is now facing charges after he allegedly stole more than 40 cemetery vases.

Yesterday, 21-year-old Robert Brandt Long was charged with second-degree theft after he reportedly stole dozens of bronze vases from Wasatch Lawn Cemetery, which is located near 3400 Highland Drive.

Court documents reveal Long received more than five-hundred dollars from a scrap metal recycler in exchange for the vases.

The vases are valued at two-hundred apiece.
