BROWNSVILLE, Texas (AP) — Allegiant Air will halt nonstop flights between Brownsville, Texas, and Las Vegas next month less than a year after starting the service.
The Brownsville Herald (http://bit.ly/1IRZTA5 ) reports the service will end Jan. 3.
Allegiant's nonstop flights between Brownsville South Padre Island National and Las Vegas began June 4.
The carrier did not immediately offer a reason why service was being suspended. An Allegiant statement apologized to travelers inconvenienced by the decision.
