RIVERDALE — On Monday, police identified the 25-year-old man whose body was found on the Riverdale Parkway Trail.

Horacio Sanchez died from a gunshot wound, according to the Riverdale City Police Department. His body was found Sunday morning at about 5:22 a.m.

Police said a possible murder weapon was recovered from an undisclosed location along the Weber River. The Weber County Search and Rescue team participated in the investigation.
