(KSL News) -- Authorities say three children suffered carbon monoxide poisoning at Pineview Reservoir and were flown to the hospital this afternoon. Tonight they are in stable condition.
Officials say the children got sick while the boat was out on the water. The kids, all under the age of 10, were sitting in the back of the boat when one of them passed out.
The family quickly got the boat back to shore and got help. All three children have been flown to Primary Children's Medical Center.
Two officers who were then inspecting the boat also got sick. They were treated at the scene and released.
Authorities believe a problem with the boat's exhaust system caused the problem.
