CARSON CITY, Nev. (AP) — Nevada Republican Sen. Dean Heller has endorsed Jeb Bush for president.
Heller issued a statement Wednesday calling Bush a proven leader with a strong record during his time as Florida governor.
The endorsement comes the day Bush is scheduled to make campaign visits in Reno and North Las Vegas.
Heller called Bush a pragmatic conservative who believes in growing the Republican Party and uniting it during his presidential run, and said he was proud to back him.
