Gene Kennedy reportingA World War II bomber is in Ogden for the weekend. There are only a handful of B-17 bomber in the world that can fly.

The B-17 was built in 1945. Inside the B-17, also known as "The Flying Fortress," there are .50-caliber machine guns and net seats.

The B-17 will visit 52 cities between last March to November. The goal is to give the public an appreciation for what these veterans went through.

Bill Hooten, with EAA, said "As you saw it's not like riding in a nice modern airplane, it's got sharp edges, it's loud, it's rough, and they experienced this for, you know, sometimes as much as 11 and 12 hours."

The B-17 will be in Ogden until Monday. You can fly on the B-17. The cost of a 15 minute ride is $425.
