Police: Nampa man killed in southwest Idaho shooting

NAMPA, Idaho (AP) — A 26-year-old Nampa man has died in a southwest Idaho shooting that is being investigated as a homicide.

Authorities say Jose Cruz Corona died late Sunday due to multiple gunshot wounds.

The Nampa Police Department says officers responding to a report of shots fired at about 11:15 p.m. Sunday found Corona dead in the street.

Police are continuing to investigate but haven't released the names of any suspects.
