(KSL News) A former junior high school teacher is charged with sexually abusing one of her students more than ten years ago.
Shelly Acor taught English at Northwest Junior High when the abuse allegedly happened. Investigators say Acor inappropriately touched a 7th grade female student almost weekly throughout the 1994 to 1995 school year.
Salt Lake City School District says Acor resigned from teaching a few months ago.
