(KSL News) Auction websites with items signed by convicted killers say you can buy papers signed by Utahn Mark Hacking.

The Deseret Morning News has discovered a website-- murderauction dot com-- selling a collection of papers and magazines purportedly signed by Hacking. Bidding starts at 30 dollars.

Another website is selling a letter it claims Hacking signed.

The Utah's Department of Corrections says it's hard to know if Hacking really signed the merchandise or knows it's out there.

Authorities want to know more. In Utah, it's illegal to profit from a crime.

Hacking pleaded guilty to murdering his wife Lori in 2004. He's serving a six years to life sentence at Utah State Prison.
