CORVALLIS, Ore. (AP) -- The man accused of killing Brooke Wilberger has been extradited from New Mexico.
Benton County authorities say Joel Courtney has been returned to face aggravated murder charges in the disappearance and death of the 19-year-old Brigham Young University student nearly four years ago.
Wilberger vanished from a Corvallis apartment parking lot while she was working on a summer job. Her body was never found.
The 41-year-old Courtney is being held at the Benton County Jail in Corvallis. His first court appearance was expected Wednesday morning.
