(KSL News) The perjury trial for one of the men accused of lying about the disappearance of a Spanish Fork teenager has been set.

David Rucker Leifson will stand trial in federal court on September 11th.

Leifson pleaded not guilty to six perjury counts in the Kiplyn Davis murder case. Leifson was originally indicted in November but a new indictment was issued last month when prosecutors discovered a technical error.

Leifson and four other men were indicted last year on charges they lied to police or the grand jury during the investigation.
