Andrew Spencer, KSL Newsradio, and APAAA of Utah is estimating that more than 625,000 Utah residents will travel 50 miles or more this Christmas and New Year's holidays. Snow or not, most of them plan to drive.
AAA reports half-a-million of those travelers will be driving. AAA spokesperson Rolayne Fairclough says that's about the same as last year.
Increase or not, Fairclough says the roads will still be crowded this weekend. And with another storm in the forecast, the drive could get messy.
