(KSL News) Two men with the two best sets of pipes in Utah are retiring.

One of them is, of course, our own Dick Nourse who is stepping down at the end of this month, after 43 years in the anchor chair here at KSL.

The other guy looks up at the 11,623 pipes that give the organ in the Salt Lake Tabernacle that special sound. John Longhurst is the elder statesman of tabernacle organists and will play for the last time Sunday, after three decades playing that fabulous organ.

The two got together today in the historic Tabernacle on Temple Square to support each other as they enter retirement.
