LEHI — The city of Lehi is seeking stories of the men and women who worked at Geneva Steel, which closed in 2002.

The Lehi City Archives have very little information on Geneva Steel, the men and women who worked there and what their jobs were.

The city is seeking donations of stories, pictures, articles and experiences about working at Geneva Steel. Anyone who worked at Geneva is encouraged to write about their experiences and share them. Stories are also sought from ancestors who worked there during World War II and up to when the plant closed in 2001-2002.

Anyone with information can contact John K. Haws Jr., the Lehi historian, at 801-857-8120 or send an email to: LehiHistory@gmail.com.
