(KSL News) Search and rescue crews recovered a body from the Jordanelle Reservoir yesterday evening.
The body of a 43 year old Clearfield man was recovered by Wasatch County Search and Rescue at around 7 p.m. on Saturday.
It appears the man was fishing alone onboard an inflatable boat. When a family on shore noticed the empty boat sitting out in the lake they called authorities.
A camera was sent to the bottom of the lake and the man's body was discovered tangled in the chain of the boat's anchor. Utah State Parks boating rangers say he was not wearing a life jacket.
The victim's identity has not yet been released pending notification of family.
