(KSL News) Volunteers from the Salt Lake Climbing Alliance went up Little Cottonwood Canyon this morning, not for climbing but for cleaning.

The alliance is working with the forest service to improve and clean trails from the mouth of the canyon all the way to the White Pine Slide area.

Today's work was a part of the alliance's overall efforts to improve climber access throughout the Wasatch Front.
