State medical examiners determined Ordonez-Hernandez had died from blunt-force trauma injuries. Police believe the 49-year-old was beaten at another location and then dumped in the parking lot.
No one has ever been charged.
Police want help from anyone who has information about the crime or saw suspicious activity outside the restaurant.
The department offers cash for tips that lead to arrest and conviction.
