(KSL News) Some soldiers helped Governor Jon Huntsman ring in Governor's Day at Camp Williams today.
As commander-in-chief of the Utah National Guard, the governor reviewed troops and recognized individuals and units for distinguished service.
"I want you to know that as you go about your work, as you serve in so many different capacities, as you are deployed overseas, you are always in the thoughts and prayers of the people of the greatest state in America," the governor said.
The Governor also recognized the families of the troops. The event also featured a flyover by Utah National Guard aircraft, and two ribbon-cuttings.
