(KSL News) -- Early this morning, someone robbed two Maverick gas stations at knifepoint.
The first happened in West Valley. Police say two people in their late teens or early 20's entered a gas station near 2675 S. 3200 West wearing masks or helmets. One robber grabbed some cigarettes while the other threatened the clerk with a knife. The clerk gave them money the thieves took off.
Just hours later, another Maverick was rob in South Salt Lake. Authorities think the two probably are connected, but the thieves have not been caught.
