(KSL News) Consumers are feeling some serious relief from the pain at the pump.

AAA reports gas prices have dropped 27 cents a gallon over the past month.

The national average for a gallon of regular gasoline now sits around $2.77. Utah's average is about $2.87.

However, some analysts point out there are still three weeks left of summer, and the Labor Day holiday is just around the corner. They say those factors could pull gas prices out of the downward trend.
