(KSL News) A forgery suspect proved to be very slippery today.
Police were called downtown today and tried arrresting the man. He ran and officers tracked him down a few blocks away. But when an officer drove him to the Salt Lake County jail, he ran again.
Salt Lake City police Lt. Isaac Atencio said, "The window was halfway down. The individual slipped one of the cuffs off of his wrist, jumped out of the window while waiting to get through the sallyport gates, and he just took off."
Police arrested him at the golf course across the street. They say the man gave them a false name and they are trying to determine his real identity.
