Man Accused of Stealing Campaign Sign Expected in Court

(KSL News) A Grantsville man accused of stealing a campaign sign will be in court today for a pre-trial hearing.

Dennis McBride was convicted in March of stealing Mayor Byron Anderson's campaign sign and sentenced to a suspended six months in jail and nine months probation.

McBride appealed. Then due to a conflict of interest, the prosecuting attorney recused himself. That prompted the judge to push back the hearing to give the new attorney time to prepare.
