(KSL News) Faulty brakes may have played a part in a fatal accident over the weekend.
The 23-year-old driver of the car says she began having trouble with her brakes as she approached the intersection of 900 East and 800 South.
She ran through three red lights before hitting and killing 65-year-old Jerry Layne, who was riding his motorcycle.
Police are investigating the accident. They have not said if charges will be filed against the driver.
