SALT LAKE CITY — With Tax Day 2011 fast approaching, several IRS offices have extended hours and the downtown Salt Lake City office at 50 S. 200 East will have weekend hours on Saturday, April 16, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Fifteen Utah post offices will provide late-night collections of mail on Monday, April 18, to assist last-minute tax filers. In addition, the Salt Lake main post office will extend window service hours until midnight, and 30 locations have Automated Postal Centers, which are available 24/7.
