(KSL News) An overnight attic fire forced four people out of their home.
Investigators think an electrical problem started the fire at 350 North 100 West, and the power will stay off until crews figure out exactly what happened.
Flames sparked at the downtown Salt Lake residence that has four separate apartments. The fire station is close to the residence, so crews got there quickly and kept the flames contained.
Officials say fires happen in this neighborhood often because it's old and more likely to have fire hazards. They say because the neighborhood is so old, crews have more obstacles when fighting flames.
Battalion Chief Kurt Cook, SLC Fire Dept.: "It's relatively tough, with houses close together. So it's been a problem over the years."
No one was injured.
