SALT LAKE CITY -- A new website is adding fuel to speculation about a presidential run for Jon Huntsman Jr.

The Horizon Political Action Committee (PAC) is officially unaffiliated with a Huntsman campaign, but evidence of its support of the former governor is a step in the direction for a run in 2012.

Apart from a giant red "H" and the slogan "Maybe someday," Horizon PAC's website bears no mention of Huntsman. The PAC cannot legally endorse Huntsman, but he can use it to raise money and fund political allies.

Brigham Young University political science professor Quinn Monson says it isn't a stretch to go from the Horizon PAC website to Huntsman for President.

"It certainly suggests he's seriously thinking things over," Monson said. "In that sense it's not new news. We kind of knew he was thinking things over when he announced he was coming back and bought a house in Washington, but this is just the next step in getting serious."

Horizon PAC's website describes the organization as a diverse group looking for courageous leaders. The mission statement says:

"Horizon PAC is an independent non-profit Political Organization founded by a group of citizens seeking to support candidates who will have a long-lasting impact on America. The goal of Horizon PAC is to help elect a new generation of conservative candidates for local and state offices all across America. The political action committee supports free-market values, principled leadership and a commitment to long-term solutions."
