SLCC Ranks 5th in Nation for Graduation Rate

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- Salt Lake Community College ranks fifth among all U.S. Community Colleges in total Associate's Degrees given, in the 2007 Top 100 Associate Degree Producers list.

Taken from the U.S. Department of Education data, this finding moves the college up from its 2006 ranking of 7th. The 2,829 Associate Degrees given to SLCC graduates for the latest ranking period was tops among two-year schools among all states other than New York and Florida.
