(KSL News) The new Apple iPhone won't be released until Friday, but some people can't wait to get their hands, and dialing fingers, on one.

Customers are already lining up and camping out at the AT&T store at the University Mall in Orem. George Thaut set up a tent on Monday and outfitted it with an iPod. His sister-in-law had to take his spot for a couple hours this afternoon.

Amy Thaut told KSL, "He looked a little delirious, a little worn. I think the heat got to him so I told him to go home. He can't come back until tomorrow."

Don't feel too bad for George: His brothers are paying him to wait in line.

The iPhone costs between $500 to $600, depending on the model.
