(KSL News) A day after a violent home invasion in Holladay, a Salt Lake family had their home broken into, and this time the suspects shot one of the victims.
It happened at 1000 West 700 North. Police say three men came in through a back window early this morning and began coralling family members, demanding money and drugs.
The father heard a scream and as he walked out of his room to check it out, one of the suspects punched him in the face then shot him in the leg.
They then took off. The man was taken to LDS Hospital in critical condition.
Police say they have no reason to believe the two break-ins are related.
