SALT LAKE CITY -- Utah lawmakers are considering running a single immigration bill in the upcoming legislative session.
It isn't clear exactly what the bill would entail, but it's said to combine parts of numerous bills other lawmakers have already sponsored.
Republican Senate Majority Leader Scott Jenkins says last week's GOP caucus revealed divisions on how to approach the immigration issue.
Current proposals call for stricter enforcement, eliminating in-state tuition for illegal immigrants and creating a guest worker program. Jenkins says exactly what the combined bill would look like will be up for discussion when the caucus gathers Jan. 10.
