(KSL News) -- A West Valley man was injured Wednesday night in a fire.
The fire started inside a van parked in a carport near 2800 S. 2800 West.
Investigators say the man was cooking on a propane stove, inside the van, when his dog dragged a towel by the stove and it caught fire.
The man burned his hands trying to put out the fire. He's in the hospital, but should quickly recover.
Firefighters called out a second alarm to make sure the fire didn't spread to nearby duplexes.
