OGDEN -- The Division of Wildlife Resources and Ogden City restocked Ogden River with thousands of fish Wednesday.
Approximately 2,500 nine-and-a-half inch rainbow trout entered the Ogden River. The DWR and Ogden City say it's just the first phase of a river rehab project to clean up the river water and banks.
An aquatic biologist with the DWR hopes the addition of the fish will urge people to recreate along the Ogden River and improve their quality of life.
