(KSL News) Utah's housing market is the hottest in the nation.
According to a report by the U.S. Office of Federal Housing Enterprise Oversight, homes in Utah appreciated an amazing 2.77 percent in the first quarter of 2007. Homes are valued at 17 percent higher than the same time last year.
Housing experts say the value increase is not all good news, though. They say it may be making it difficult for people to afford homes, and could leave homes sitting on the market for longer periods of time.
