COTTONWOOD HEIGHTS -- A teen who was reported missing Friday is home safe.

Jazmin Corona, 15, had not been seen since Thursday. Fearing that a male friend, 22-year-old Rafiel Villamora, was taking her to Mexico, Corona's mother contacted police and pleaded with the public to help find her daughter.

Police issued an endangered person advisory but quickly can canceled it when the girl returned home.
